Studio Z Dance was established in 2023. We offer a variety of opportunities for dance education. These include drop-in classes, enrollment with a recital, pop-up classes from professionals, and competitive teams. Our studio welcomes anyone and everyone seeking an experience in dance. Dance should be challenging, yet enjoyable. Our goal is to keep dancers excited about learning the art of dance. We also host adult hip hop & fitness classes.
Why should you choose Studio Z?
We want dance to be an option for EVERYONE. This means we strive to keep classes and requirements as affordable and doable as possible. We set schedules in convenience with Zachary Community Schools, and no class costs more than $15. The styles we offer include ballet/technique, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, tap, and acro. We are steadily evolving to suit the needs of our growing clientele!

2024-2025 Registration
Our registration has officially closed for this season. If you missed this window, please see the next FAQ for registering for our 2025/26 season.
2025-2026
Registration
Registration for our third season will open to the public on January 15th, 2025. Our classes are suited for ages 2+. The schedule will not be finalized until July 2025, but, beforehand, you may want to register your dancer in their desired classes to save them a spot!
Drop-In Classes
Those wishing to simply take individual classes need to review our schedule and be sure they have the proper shoes and clothing for that particular class. We do allow drop-ins to classes that are NOT full. You pay for DROP-IN classes via Venmo, Cashapp, Cash, or Check. They are $15 per class you attend. Studio Z retains the right to refuse drop-ins if there is not enough space to safely conduct class.

Dress Code
Having the proper attire for class ensures your dancer is absorbing every single detail the teacher is giving. All dancers need a bag for their shoes, clothes, drink, etc. All classes require hair to be up and out of the face. Dancers will get one warning regarding attire before contact home. Any other occurrences will result in removal of class.

Ballet: leotard, tights, ballet shoes
Jazz: tight-fitted clothing, jazz shoes or half-soles
Hip Hop: any clothes, tennis shoes, recommended to have sweatpants handy
Tap: tight-fitted clothing, tap shoes
Acro: tight-fitted clothing, NO shoes

Class Requirements
In order to be in our recital routines at the end of the year, dancers are required to take technical classes with each style. Ballet is strongly suggested across the board. It benefits dancers in terms of strength, discipline, musicality, etc.
